My mother moved into Allegro Hyde Park nearly a decade ago, and we could not be happier with our decision. The facility is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a wide variety of amenities including, but not limited to a stunning pool and courtyard, cozy library nooks, a coffee lounge, media room, game center, and an excellent restaurant with delicious menu options and attentive service. The Sky Lounge features an inviting upscale bar, comfortable seating, a pool table, and beautiful views.
Residents enjoy an active social calendar filled with book clubs, movies, contests, guest speakers, live entertainment, and a daily happy hour where residents and their guests can gather before dinner. The community also offers a fitness center, on-site physical therapy, a hair and nail salon, and much more.
What truly sets Allegro apart, however, is the staff. From the reception team and management to the medical technicians, dining staff, housekeeping, maintenance, and transportation personnel, everyone is professional, compassionate, and genuinely committed to the well-being of residents and their families. On a few occasions when my mother required emergency assistance, the staff responded quickly and professionally, providing exceptional care and keeping me well informed throughout the process.
Another important advantage, especially in Florida, is Allegro’s hurricane preparedness. The team has well-established plans in place to ensure residents remain safe, comfortable, and well-cared for during severe weather events.
I cannot say enough positive things about Allegro Hyde Park. If you are searching for an Assisted Living or Independent Living community, I highly recommend putting Allegro at the top of your list!

I’ve had two different experiences with Allegro. My mother lived there for six years. Initially, she was fully independent, but as her health declined, we were able to have her stay with assistance. The staff was always incredibly caring and supportive, and they were very helpful in communicating any changes in her health. After my mother passed away, leaving Allegro left a big void in my life. A few years later, I found myself back at Allegro. This time, I was a member of an organization that Allegro kindly provided us with a room to meet. Coming to our meetings feels like coming home. The staff has been very accommodating, and I always find a friendly and caring environment. Thank you for both experiences.

I have lived in this great and vibrant community for almost 5 years now. We have a lot to do and great spaces to do it in. From exercise classes with certified instructors to swimming and card games, trivia, movies, outings, happy hour and huge events. I honestly never thought I could live in a communal space with others as a private person. I have learned that I can be private person and attend events, programs and classes without compromising who I am.

Allegro Senior Living South Tampa is exceptional, and it’s all about the people.
The leadership has built an incredible team that truly cares about every resident.
The team is compassionate, attentive, and treats everyone like family. You can tell they’re well-trained and coordinated – that only happens with strong leadership setting the right tone.
From management to caregivers, everyone goes above and beyond. If you want a community where the team makes all the difference, this is it. Highly recommend!

My mother has been living here three months. The transition was difficult. There are still obstacles to jump, but she is very happy. Everyone has been very welcoming, someone is always available should she need a hand. I do not worry about her as I did when she lived alone. Allegro does everything to make its occupants feel welcome and at home, having special festivals each month, movies, musical concerts, happy hour. Her medical care is exceptional and the associates are amazing! Here my Mother will live out her days in peace and harmony.
