Thank you, HOV for all of your support personally and professionally. As my father-in-law declined in health in an Assisted Living, family opted in for services with a smaller hospice agency. They were kind, caring, but in way over their heads. His behaviors became increasingly erratic, needing family to stay with him 24/7, even though he was in Assisted Living. 3 ER trips in 3 days, physicians at the ER were all saying "this is end of life" - but the smaller hospice couldn't support us with the services we needed - basically, keeping him comfortable, calmed, able to rest, and not so fearful. We made the call to HOV and that same day, EVERYTHING was being addressed. He went from literally trying to climb the walls, injuring himself, thinking there were killers hiding in his shower, to resting quietly. We were kept updated by the compassionate HOV team. This made everything so much easier. The stress on family during this time is unbelievable - to know your loved one is in such great care, that we don't have to be there 24/7 while juggling work, home, kids, etc. is an incredible weight lifted. I've also worked with HOV on numerous occasions for work. As a nurse, I'm confident in recommending HOV. I also needed the 8 hours of training mandated by AZ for dementia care - and HOV provided that for free to our entire staff and did a tremendous job. Your outreach across the valley is incredible and your stellar reputation is well-deserved. Many thanks!

A dear friend had Hospice of the Valley care and I can tell you first hand that it was the most caring comprehensive and professional care I have witnessed. The focus was right on - the patient and the best possible quality of life. I would most highly recommend HOV above all other hospices to my friends and family.

I highly recommend Hospice of the Valley to care for your loved ones in their time of need. My late wife spent a week in their care prior to her passing, and their staff was absolutely amazing. They showed such compassion and kindness at all times, and their communication was excellent. They made her comfortable, kept her clean, and offered continuous support through. They also have a generous visitation policy (24 hours a day), which allowed family to see her at any time (which was so good for her). They even let us bring our family dog to see her. I hope I never need their services again, but they would be the first place I would take my loved one.

I cannot thank Hospice of the Valley enough for how they cared for both my parents. I relied on Hospice of the Valley for both my parents, in different settings, 3 weeks apart. For my father, he was in a home for end of life care. Hospice of the Valley worked very well with staff of the home and were very thoughtful and caring for him in his final days. They also did an amazing job respecting my father wishes in how he hoped to pass. For my mother, she was in an Assisted Living home and once again the staff worked great with the Assisted Living caretakers and me in helping my mother have a peaceful passing. Both Hospice of the Valley nurses who worked with my mother and father were unbelievable in the grace they displayed and guidance they gave me.

Mom had been incredibly active into her 90's before she was diagnosed with dementia. Then she declined to the point that she couldn't walk, talk and ended up bed-ridden the last 2 1/2 years of her life. HOV, with a team of professionals, not only provided the medical care she needed, but also the emotional and spiritual care she and the family needed. And they did all this with an extraordinary amount of compassion. We are eternally grateful.
