Reentry program that's minters those in need of a fresh start

This place calls itself a ministry. It does not truly glorify God. The men and women coming out of prison are subjected to a controlling environment. Their phones are monitored, texts and calls. They are told where to go to church. Also told they can not access any outside source for their growth in their faith. Everything has to go through their program. Many who volunteer have left because of the controlling environment and the treatment these men and women receive. Quite repulsive. After attending one of their meetings it was clear they do not serve God whole heartedly. The staff are men and women who have been groomed and programmed to recruit others. If you have a loved one who is incarcerated do not lead them to this program otherwise they will end up leaving like many have because of its false claim to disciple according to Christian faith. Stay away from this false ministry

Best decision I ever made. Being at Alongside has brought me closer to God. It all started in county and went on in prison then continues out in the world. I have met wonderful people who love Jesus like I do. Thank you Alongside Ministries.

This it's a great organization and ministry. Truly God based and full of love. It helped me transition from prison to freedom. I was able to get a job and see how real Christian people live. I now give back in any way that I can as a graduate.
