Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services

Wonderful stuff to work with. We visited prior to my dad’s death to make all the arrangements. Upon my dad’s death their team arrived and cared for my dad to transport him back to their facility. Once dad’s cremated remains were ready I met with them. They graciously combined my dad’s remains with my mom’s and then divided them into five containers. I brought one home , while Simplicity shipped the remaining four to my siblings all over the United States. They took very good care of us . Note: this review is posted on my dad’s google account! I’m sure he would share the same feelings.

Five stars is simply not enough for this establishment. For the last ten years, as a hospice nurse, I have recommended hundreds of families to Simplicity. They have always been pleasant to work with and have always been super professional in their care. On 1/23/26, I had to endure the passing of my precious dad. The ONLY option for us was Simplicity in North Charleston. I had known this for years as my dad had wished for cremation. From the moment Chrissy arrived to the hospital after my dad passed to the moment we picked him up, she was nothing short of amazing. She is super caring, gentle, and just an awesome person to do this kind of work. Having known her for some time while working in hospice, I knew we were in excellent hands. I was able to tell my grieving mom that Chrissy would make sure everything was taken care of. And that couldn’t be more true. I wouldn’t want to go through this process with any other location or funeral home. They are simply the best. I could not recommend more!

After my mom’s passing, the team at Simplicity Funeral Home was kind, thorough, and incredibly responsive. They handled everything with care and respect, which made a very difficult time feel more manageable. Knowing I didn’t have to worry about the next steps brought real peace of mind. I’m deeply grateful for their professionalism, compassion, and steady guidance.

When my boyfriend passed away a few people including the nurse from Hospice recommended Simplicity. They came right out and were so very kind . Chrissy helped me plan everything and without her I wouldn't have known what to do. The facility was very beautiful and they did a wonderful job with the music and slideshow. They even let us cater food for a small gathering. My boyfriend wasn't a very religious person, and the service that we had was so very perfect and helped me have closure. Thank you guys so very much Rose & Chrissy for all that you do. I would recommend this place over any other in our area .
