Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Cremation Center

Our needs were relatively simple. My mom recently passed (@97!) and wanted a cremation. Sunland had taken good care of dad back in 2009 and mom wanted the same. They also requested the family scatter their ashes together...at an undisclosed location. Sunland cared for mom expertly and with dignity. We have the remains of both dad and mom now. We give Sunland high marks.

We moved our parents from Las Vegas to Arizona and needed to transfer their prepaid funeral plan to a funeral home in the Surprise AZ area. Sunland Memorial Park made the transfer seamless. Then when our dad passed away they put us in Robert Prado’s hands and he was amazing. Robert took care of everything and was so respectful of the family’s feelings. I would recommend this funeral service to everyone.

My Husband suddenly passed away in Easter Sunday. We had already purchased a boulder by the beautiful fountains and pond. It’s a very peaceful and beautiful spot in the Sunland Park. I was contacted by Robert who works at the mortuary Monday morning after my husband‘s passing. He assisted every step of the way, making the arrangements and even did extras such as helping me type, my husbands obituary. I was also assisted by Marie to order my husband‘s grave markers and to make prearrangements for my burial so now I have peace of mind that my husband and I will be together and all the arrangements will be done so family members don’t have to try and guess what my desires were. Buried both my parents at Sunland Memorial. Thank goodness my parents walked in one day and sat down with a few staff members and signed up. They selected everything with ease. It made it so easy for us children at the time of death to just call the phone number provided in the information box my parents kept. The service was very quaint and the food was amazingly wonderful. Sunland Memorial walked us through everything. Professional staff. Thank you.
