To my great regret, my first experience working with a therapist began at this place. And my therapist name was Erin. I would never recommend this facility and do not advise anyone to come here. I am writing this two years later, when my life is stable and I am doing well, which gives me the ability to reflect and make objective conclusions. In my experience, this place can worsen your emotional state and make things even harder. When I came here, my marriage was already falling apart. I was a stay-at-home mom raising an autistic child, and it was an extremely difficult time. We had just received the diagnosis and were at the very beginning of our journey. There was no ABA therapy, no other therapies available, and we were repeatedly denied daycare—my child was not accepted because of his behavior. I was alone at home with no help or support. My husband was exhausted from work, was rarely home, and was struggling to accept our son’s diagnosis. Instead of offering support, the therapist began convincing me that I did not love my husband and that we should separate. I still clearly remember her saying to me: “What do you have to bring to the table?” — referring to my role in our marriage. She also told my husband that I had borderline personality disorder, a diagnosis that was never confirmed later by other professionals. I consider this place a black hole that can seriously harm your mental health, damage your marriage, and ultimately break you down as a person.

I received compassionate, loving, and professional care from Lisa Zucker for over 3 years after the loss of my son, Wesley, by suicide. She saved me.

Lost my mom a year ago and the therapist I had was my first therapist and she by far has been the best therapist I’ve had. Mihaela has helped me so much and Im truly grateful for her. No one comes close. Unfortunately I quit my job to focus in school so because of this I lost my insurance and they don’t accept Medicaid. I’ve had two therapist after Mihaela and they have been terrible. I understand Medicaid rates are terrible and it is what is but that’s the only reason why i gave them 4 stars instead of 5.

I have known and worked with Lisa for over 10 years. She is an outstanding and well trained therapist. Lisa provides a safe and nurturing environment for her clients to share their deepest emotions and life experiences. Lisa’s expertise in grief and loss, specifically Psychological thanatology cannot be measured with others. Lisa has a passion to help others and teach others. She is very involved and invested in her community. Lisa will always be the therapist I refer to because without a doubt I know she will show up and work hard to support her clients.
