Kapka is intuitive, honest and sincere- which isn't so common, even in a therapeutic environment She is insightful and direct, which my partner and I really appreciate. Kapka doesn't waste time getting to the heart of the problem-no lengthy, drawn-out (and often vaguely confusing) 6-month get-to-know-you scenario like I've experienced with other therapists. My partner and I were split up and decided to give our relationship one more try since we still truly love each other. Kapka has helped us to grow back trust and confidence that we can be happy together for the rest of our lives. She has helped us to think differently- to give each other the space and time to really understand each other so that we don't just jump into difficult interactions and hurt each other. I love Kapka's sincerity and genuine caring. I find it impossible to be open or vulnerable around a therapist who is just going through the motions. Kapka would never be able to "play" at therapy. She really cares to see her clients learning, doing better and finding peace and happiness.

I have been to therapy for years, and struggled really hard to understand myself and why my marriage was struggling. Kapka really has helped me to understand where these struggles come from, and how to take ownership of my decisions and actions and to overcome them. It by no means has been an easy process but Kapka has walked me through it teaching me how to interact with those around me in a healthy manner, with kindness regardless of how they may choose to treat me.

My partner and I started to see Kapka due to some communication conflicts we were having within our relationship. We have been together for three years, and are overall happy, but could not figure out how to get past conflict. After a two sessions with Kapka, we immediately started to see a difference in our communication. She helped us see from the other sides perspective, and gave us strong techniques to practice outside of the sessions to help us rebuild our communication and relationship. After a few months with her, we felt like we were back to the start of our relationship. She does not favor one side or the other, and is a very unbiased third party that really helps you both understand the other. The great thing about Kapka is she also works with you to try and get you OUT of her chair, she is a good therapist in the way that her goal is to provide you with the skill set to be able to deal with conflict and life on your own, so you don’t have to keep coming back.
