RMHC reached out via the social worker at Brenner’s to give our family a close spot to the hospital where we could stay together. My 13 year old had blood clots in both lungs and it was a terrifying 2 weeks.
Their generosity, meals at night, and community activities like Pet therapy (Big Ben was the therapy mom didn’t know she needed too) were absolutely incredible. We knew we had at least one ‘non hospital’ meal taken care of each day. We were walking distance to the hospital, they helped us relay packages for the things we forgot in the airlift panic and shuttled us to and from the hospital. I am so grateful this exists and for the level of care we received here.
Thank you volunteers, staff, and donors to RMHC. We have had our share of medical emergencies but we’ve never been so cared for communally. We will remember this.

One of the most loving and welcoming environments you could ask for when you have a child in the hospital.

Stayed here in 2015 when my dad was flown to the hospital from VA and fought for a few days before an untimely death. I always remember this Ronald McDonald house and how it offered a clean room with a fully stocked kitchen and a quiet place to rest in between going to the hospital for a few days. Very fortunate to have this facility.

I had a bad experience at the Winston house. The staff was extremely rude to myself and guest. I reported one staff member more than once but nothing was done. I was asked to leave early because they needed the room which I help was unprofessional. They kept apologizing but it was not right. I have been having issues with this place for months but didn’t know the correct person to talk to. Something needs to be done about how they communicate with the guess and better ways to treat them.
