So I do not mind sharing my experience. Because hopefully somebody will see this who maybe in crisis or need help and they can reach out as well. This is my first appointment with the counselor that I did see, after my initial appointment I was left filling a little less anxiety. I know I need some help because I've been through a lot and it's hard to find somebody that you can actually talk to that doesn't try and act like they know how you feel because they have all the book smarts in the world. If you've been through stuff and your counselor has not been through anything it makes it hard to be able to build a report with that person. No I'm not completely comfortable with her and no I don't completely trust her but that's not her fault. She did an amazing job, it's mine because of my mental health. With that said she was very welcoming she let me speak upon what I wanted to speak upon and she would ask me questions to show she was interested in the conversation and wanted to know more to get to know my situation. She was not pushy nor did she just ask a bunch of questions or make it completely personal. She made it so that I felt I was okay to speak and she actually took the time to listen and didn't act like she knew everything but she acted like she had empathy for the things I've been through. Her listening skills added to this, made her easy to communicate with and I will be seeing her again. I think this may be somebody that I can relieve stress with without feeling like it's just another session.

I’ve completed two sessions and have found my therapist, Linda Faris, very professional and comfortable to talk with. She listens and then repeats what she thinks I’m saying. We’re working on coping skills and improving self talk. I feel positive I can reach my goals.

Ashley Parrish is absolutely wonderful! She creates such a warm, supportive, and safe environment that makes it easy to open up. Her compassionate approach and genuine care make all the difference, and she has a great way of helping you feel heard and understood. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for individual counseling…she’s truly exceptional.

I canceled on August 5. I wanted no more sessions and I got a wake up. Call this morning that I had a meeting when I had already canceled. This is ridiculous that y'all keep sending me messages. I'd appreciate it if you don't send anymore.

I had a zoom appointment scheduled for 4 pm, I entered the zoom and waited for 40 minutes. Nobody showed up. Nobody had emailed, texted, or called me to say anything. Then they tell me I cant cancel my next appointment because its within 48 hours so I'll be charged for it.
Make it make sense. Why can you not show up with 0 communication, but I have to pay a fee to tell you I want to cancel?
I dont recommend trying this place. Especially if you already struggle to reach out for help, they just ignore you anyway.
And now I have to go to another appointment just to not get charged $135 even though you all messed up with 0 consequences.
