The experience was a waste of time they said my income was over but had another agent that will work with me had me had my landlord fill out forms just to tell me oh we can’t help you I owe March rent I have income coming in so if it was at least half of payment that would have helped me a whole lot now I have to double my rent because this place did not help I’m leaving in a District that I can’t get no help man I gave them all my paper work they asked me for it seem as if I gotta have no job to get help this organization is something else

This review is way overdue, I called catholic charities sometime in march 2025 and I’m sorry I didn’t write down the name of the person who answered the phone, but she was very helpful, She called me the next day and provided the SALSA organization information to help me get started on the process, I needed to do a probated will after my mom s passing.

I called the main number of CC to ask for help for the father of someone I know. First, I received a three minute lecture from the person who answered the call of how people should follow rules (pertaining to my acquittance's father, whom I don't even know); then I get very little help. This man who answered the phone needs a dosage of humility, compassion, and helping those in need in a nonjudgmental and charitable way... I'll be praying for his heart and soul.

This place is not helpful i was trying to get rental assistance and kept telling the case manager I dont have income only my husband does and he keeps saying I need something from ssi and ive never even had ssi so idk what he needs from them ive never had income and now I got so mad because of this I tokd them just remove my application because he would not listen or help

I called the number just to be told within a minute of talking, that they do not help with utilities or anything "like that" My water cut off today and I only need 120 to turn it back on. I have 4 kids. Even if they could not help there was no need to lie. They do provide services from what I read on their website but I guess only when they feel like it? I was told to call 311. (He didn't even let me finish explaining before I was cut off and told that) It's okay when there's a will there's a way I have God by my side. I see some of these other reviews, I'll be praying for them that they find the help they need.
