St Barnabas Hospice Inpatient Unit (Lincoln)

I don’t have enough words to explain just how wonderful every member of staff is. The care, compassion, respect and dignity they gave my dad was above and beyond. Not only did they care for him, they also cared for me whilst I stayed by his side. They gave me hugs without question and made me smile when I didn’t think it was possible. Thankyou is so inadequate for everything they do. X

Wow! It was absolute torture watching my Nan pass away, however every single persons that worked in that building were just out of this world. The care here was like no other and I have worked for an outstanding rated care company so I know quality care when I see it! Not only did they care for my Nan with such dignity, respect and genuinely heart felt passion they also looked after me so well, as times like this you naturally forget about yourself. Thank you all so much for making what I can only describe as a horrific time bearable. Thank you for EVERYTHING. Will be doing a fundraising and see you again very soon! Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart.

St Barnabas were amazing and very supportive from the first phone call and home visit to then getting my dad admitted into the inpatient unit. Sadly he was only there for three weeks until he passed away. The care and support dad and our family received was amazing and we have great respect for everyone who supported us and made sure we were looked after. We will be forever grateful for all they did for our dad

There aren't enough words to express my family's gratitude for the kindness, care and compassion the St Barnabas family showed my dad in his last five weeks. Every single member of staff and volunteer we met were so respectful, warm and just generally wonderful. The rooms and wards were immaculate and well resourced, and the food was homemade and made to order. They also accommodated his young grandchildren so they could visit for an ice lolly and continue to offer us emotional and practical support. Thank you for everything.

From the very start until the very end the staff here are absolutely amazing for the patient as well as the patients family they took all the time and care needed and answered any questions that we had my dad was extremely well looked after by every single one of them. I honestly cant thank them enough and I'm sure my dad will be extremely happy with the treatment he received. Thank you all of you once again xx
