MASJID IS MASHALLAH BEAUTIFUL & BIG HUMBLE REQUEST TO THE ICNEF MANAGEMENT CURRENTLY, THE MAJOR FOCUS IS ON COLLECTION OF FUNDS FROM PEOPLE FOR PURCHASE OF A LAND FOR CEMETRY WORTH 7,30,000. REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY PUT SOME ATTENTION ON THE INTERNAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE MASJID AS A TRAVELLER, I NOTICED 400-500 PEOPLE GATHERED AT THE MASJID FOR THE FRIDAY PRAYER. HOWEVER, THERE WAS INCONVENIENCE SEEN AMONG MANY WHILE THEY WERE AT THE WUDU AREA THE WUDU AND TOILET ARE IN A COMMON ROOM. THE TAPS CENSOR DO NOT WORK PROPERLY. IT POURS WATER EVERY 3 SEC DELAY AND SOME CENSORS DON'T WORK. IT WASTES TIME JUST HOVERING YOUR HAND IN FRONT OF IT. SECONDLY, THERE IS NO SITTING AVAILABLE SO WUDU IS DONE STANDING AND THE HEIGHT OF THE WUDU TABLE IS ALMOST 3 FEET MOST ELDERLY PEOPLE ARE UNABLE TO LIFT THERE LEG UP TO THE WUDU TABLE SOME YOUNG ONES CAN BUT IT LOOKS COMPLETELY UNHYGENIC AS MANY HAD JUST WALKED OUT OF THE TOILET WHICH IS IN THE SAME ROOM. TOILETS ARE SMALL AND CLUTTERED IT LOOKS SO CONJESTED WHEN MANY PEOPLE GET IN TOGETHER CREATING CONFUSION WHO IS WAITING FOR TOILET AND WHO IS WAITING FOR WUDU. THE TOILETS ARE MESSY NO ARRANGEMENT FOR TOILET FOOT WEAR. FORGIVE ME IF I HAVE CLICKED SOME PICTURES TO HIGHLIGHT THIS MATTER TO YOU. I AM A BUSINESS TRAVELLER AND I HAVE BEEN TO VARIOUS MASJID'S IN VARIOUS CITIES AND STATES. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE COME ACROSSED TO SUCH A SCENE. AND BELEIVED THAT THIS INCONVENIENCE TO ALL THE NAMAZEE WILL BE RESOLVED SOON IF I CAN HIGHLIGHT IT THRU MY REVIEW. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING IN THIS MATTER.

Good place to pray gives out free food on Saturdays but kids commonly get bullied here and there is a junk yard full of dangerous stuff. Keep an eye on your kid!

The Islamic Center of North Florida is a haven of peace. I felt such a deep sense of tranquility that I didn't want to leave. I spent my time making Dua in the beautiful prayer hall and left feeling completely uplifted. It is a truly wonderful masjid.

My husband and I stopped at this masjid during a road trip from Virginia to Florida for Maghrib prayer. The mosque was clean, welcoming, and easy to find, and the people were very kind and helpful since it was our first visit. There is a playground and an Islamic school nearby, and hearing the Maghrib adhan called out loud was a beautiful surprise. One small suggestion would be having a separate entrance for women. Pros: Nice mosque with clean prayer room and bathrooms. Friendly people who were helpful in guiding us where to go, since it was our first time here and didn’t know where to go. They have a playground nearby and an Islamic school too. The call for Maghreb was called out loud outside, which was a surprise to me, since we don’t usually experience that in the states. One con: I believe there should be a separate entrance for the women to enter the mosque, instead of mixing and entering with the men at the main entrance. All in all, definitely recommend this place to anyone going.
