Catholic Charities- Fulton Street Office - Food Distribution Center

Very kind people I recently injured my lower back,a strain and I have been having difficulty walking. Have to go slowly,and all of a sudden a gentleman approaches me and asked if I would like a wheelchair. It was very touching to me,his abundance of kindness. It made my day!

I always feel achieved and accomplished in each visit

They are VERY busy. However, I was assisted by a young, thin, beautiful girl. She was kind and patient despite having to tell me that CC couldn't help me in a couple of areas I did get a food box that contained 4 pkgs. Of frozen beef! I was shocked! I do have 1 small suggestion, I am grateful for the meat, the other items included pasta which I can't eat. I'll try to pass these items on to someone who can use them. But, I wish there was a way to advise CC of allergies and foods that are on your Dr.s forbidden list. This would help reduce waste Just a thought...

As someone born and raised in Fresno, at some point my family needed Catholic charities' help and we are grateful for that aide, however there are many things that can be improved.. that's not the only issue; it's the lot across the street that could be used as a community garden.. who do we talk to about setting that up? 🤔

I bought pitchers that are ceramic and one plastic for $ 2 dollars each also a small grill for 10 dollars beautiful plates for 2 each and are very beautiful they have recliners for 20 chest of drawers for 25 to 100 I want to buy some recliners but don't have a truck they deliver but you do have buy 100 I only had 60 dollars worth of it but, please check it out they give food too I've never asked because I'm blessed so far. they pay your electric bill my bill is 135 so we have enough to pay but if ever I need it food or bill paid I will ask only in an emergency bless them my daughter worked there
