Benchmark Monument Co

I went to Benchmark to buy a marker for my brother. We picked out a beautiful marker. It was ordered. I received a call from Benchmark saying that my brother’s marker had been lost by the freight company for almost 3 weeks. I asked for a reimbursement for the freight And Benchmark refused to reimburse Me for the freight. I am grateful that the marker finally arrived in good shape. I have been in customer service my entire working career and have given refunds when my customers freight was late or lost. I have never been so appalled at such poor customer service, especially when it comes to something as Special as a loved ones grave marker. I thought I was doing business with a reputable company. But apparently I made the wrong decision and did business with the wrong company. The response from Benchmark Monument Company said I was Being vindictive. I was not being vindictive. I was merely trying to get my freight reimbursed because they lost my brother’s marker for his grave …the freight company that he used to send my brother’s marker and as a good company policy and good customer Service I still feel that getting my freight reimbursed would be the proper way to take care of the situation. My brother’s marker was carried around from October 6 through October 16.. I am grateful It at least arrived in good shape and was not damaged.. I will reiterate that I Was in sales and dealt with customer service my entire career. And reimbursed freight many times for customers when there was an issue. With my customer receiving their product in a timely manner.. I am still bewildered Why Benchmark Monument It hesitant to get the freight company to reimburse the freight and provide good customer service for such a precious purchase, such as a grave marker.

I recently lost my beloved. I went to Benchmark Monument to purchase the monument. Joel and Bianca walked me through the process with great sensitivity and care. They outlined how international shipping of granite can take time. They told me to be patient and prepared for some time to pass, but they finished the monument sooner than I expected! They answered all of my questions and helped me choose a monument that is absolutely beautiful and well crafted. They did not try to push me to spend more than I could. With 50% down I started the order and now I have a very nice and fitting monument to visit until my time comes. I truly appreciate Benchmark Monument and the care and honesty of its staff. Like they said, "No one wants to walk into a monument shop".. but they made the process easy and I am ever so grateful that I trusted them to do this work for me. Thank you Benchmark Monument !
