Machpelah Cemetery

I recently called about options for having an urn with cremated remains interred with family in an existing plot in the future. LaShannon (apologies if I misspelled) was knowledgeable, helpful, and very kind. She patiently answered all my questions and gave me wonderful advice on what I would need to do to arrange it in advance and from several states away. I already knew the cemetery is beautiful as many generations of my family is buried there. Now I also know how wonderful tue staff is, as well.

I PUT FLOWERS ON MY MOM'S GRAVE AND WHEN I WENT BACK TO SEE IF THEY WERE STILL THERE, GUESS WHAT, THEY WEREN'T . THE CEMETARY TOOK THEM OFF THE GRAVE AND I GUESS THEY THREW THEM AWAY. I AM SO UPSET AND DISGUSTED WITH THEM. THAT IS WRONG. THAT IS STEALING FROM A GRAVE AND I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH IT

My Grandmother Elizabeth is buried here, with her parents, my great-grandfather, Mason Claiborne Bailey and Great-Grandmother, Matilda Tutt Bailey. Lizzie Suddith Bailey Combs, died 11/23/1911 and her father in 1912, her mother in 1913 or vice versa. A terrible time for my grandfather, Dr. Marshall Ernest (M.E.) Combs, son of Elizabeth Johnson Combs, of Breathitt Co,( d/o George) and William Wallace Combs, Hazard, KY, Perry Co... where 8 Combs bros and their father,John, came in 1790. His son or gs, "Gen. 'Lige (Elijah) Combs m Sally Roark, d)o Michael O'Roark and Letty Grigsby) Their son, Jesse Combs m Polly Bollingnd their daughter, Minerva or Martha, was m/o Wm Wallace.
