South Hills Assembly of God

We started staying in the area coming here from Florida in November. My son needed a way to make friends since he is homeschooled from Florida right now. The church has been so kind to him and he has had a phenomenal experience going. I was able to go to Sunday service twice so far. The pastor is GREAT! He explains things in a very down to earth, easy to understand way and I love that the church feels more modern in nature. The blue and purple lighting, the singing at the beginning, the overall messages being delivered, it’s all wonderful. Once we slow down traveling I plan to come here much more often.

New to the church and loving everything about it. The people are welcoming, the messages are powerful and worship team is amazing.

I want to say I was baptized at this church. I used to love it when the old pastor and his beautiful wife were there before moving to Texas. Now however I actually walked out because the new pastor was talking about looks. Money. In appropriate jokes etc. the old pastor his sermons brought me to tears they were so sincere and I could feel Gods presence however now I didn’t feel anything but arrogance so I’m searching for a new church. The Bible warns us about this and false teachings . This Church sadly is not the same

This church offers a program called "Life Recovery" for addicts/alcoholics and family members. They break into smaller groups after an initial bible-based 12 step program. There's no pressure to "share" if it's not in your comfort zone but everyone is made to feel important and comfortable. I love this group! Unfortunately, it only meets once a week, Wed night @ 7pm, I'd go EVERY night if they had meetings daily.

An awesome holy spirit filled church, wonderful pastors, people. Very kind, humble, simple and helping people. I miss the pastors Jack Stepp, Jared Stepp, Rick and the people too. I would always remember them in my life
