This is the second year we visited the national cemetery. Visiting and honoring our beloved soldiers who died for our country is very important. So rich in history and very informative. The views from there are breathtaking, you can see the whole city, Diamond Head, the mountains, and the seas. Very clean amenities. Peaceful. A must-visit!

A sacred and humbling place that inspires gratitude and reflection. It’s nestled in the crater of an extinct volcano overlooking Honolulu; a beautiful final resting place for thousands of American service members. The grounds are impeccably maintained. The memorial walls listing the names of those missing in action are especially moving. You truly feel the weight of the sacrifices made by thousands of heroes. The panoramic views add a sense of serenity and perspective. This is a must-visit site in Hawaii for anyone who wants to honor those who served. Thank you to all who rest here. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Such a beautiful reasting place! The viewws of the city of breathtaking. Many people miss this fantastic experience when they go to Honolulu. Don't be one of those people. Whether you go to see the cemetery and its incredible mosaics or you drive up for the views, do yourself a favor. Go spend thirty minutes off the beaten path here.

Colloquially known as "Punchbowl Cemetery", this cemetery is located in the crater of an extinct volcano. The grounds, buildings and chapel are absolutely exquisite. The views of Honolulu, Waikiki Beach and the ocean are spectacular. This is a solemn, peaceful place. Tour buses do not stop here but drive right through so it is best to take your own vehicle to get here.
