Dear Team at the Rotenburg Hospice,
Your building is not only beautiful and spacious, but above all, it is a truly special place because of the people who work there. One can feel the dedication, warmth, and compassion with which you carry out your work.
A big compliment also for the beautifully designed "Room for You." It is a place that radiates peace, comfort, and security. Please pass on my thanks and appreciation to the design team.
Thank you so much for your valuable work and everything you do for the people and their families.

My father spent his final hours at the Good Shepherd Hospice. We are grateful that he was able to die there, because the peace of the place and the loving care made saying goodbye easier for us—and I believe for him as well.
Thank you so much for your work.

Our mother passed away there on December 31, 2025. She was only there for three days.
I am so grateful that she was able to be there.
From the moment we entered the hospice, we immediately felt safe and at home.
Our mother was able to leave this world with dignity, without pressure or pain.
The entire team is incredibly empathetic and loving.
Every wish was granted.
They were always there to listen, no matter the time.
It was like a home, like family.
The peace and warmth there brought me a sense of calm.
Thank you for all the warmth and care you gave us and our mother.

My mother spent her last months at the Hospice of the Good Shepherd and felt very comfortable there. She received wonderful care, and I, too, was supported during the time of saying goodbye. Anyone who thinks a hospice is only sad is mistaken. Here, there is also laughter, singing, celebrations, games, and much more. I thank the entire team from the bottom of my heart for taking such wonderful care of us, especially Stephi.
Keep up the good work.

My mother was fortunate enough to live and die with dignity at the Hospice of the Good Shepherd from August 22nd to 27th, 2022... without coercion, without an IV drip, without any rushed care.
I learned about this facility by chance, and despite the difficult days, our family, including our young, grieving children, was always well cared for.
The peace and quiet, as well as the laughter, that pervade this place are particularly noteworthy.
Thank you.
