I applaud the members and those who have supported this Historic church over the many years. The park across the street provides a lot of detail on the events that have occurred and the struggles the members have endured throughout time

I attended a Candlelight Communion service there and it was so nice! Pastor Bennings is a gifted speaker and the congregation is warm and welcoming!

My family has a long history with Springfield Baptist Church my grandmother's name is on one of the cornerstones. The Historic Church celebrated is 230th anniversary in August of 2018, that block of 12th Street on which it stands what is change to Springfield way.
