West Central Missouri Community Action won't help the homeless and they clearly hate them. All their funding goes to giving housing vouchers out and they refuse to provide any assistance to those who are literally living outside and they clearly hate the homeless, treating them as if they're not even human beings. If a homeless person contacts them, trying to get assistance, this will be ignored. WCMCAA was put on the Impact 100 list, given to organizations that addresses critical challenges, but West Central Missouri Community Action does not do that, and they're undeserving of this honor. It's interesting that if someone makes a negative google review of them, it will be deleted, both off their google website and that of United Way's also. Clearly, they don't want the public to know the truth, that management hates the homeless and don't want to help them. Management should be replaced with people who will show compassion and treat every needy person with assistance, because present management does not do this. May God punish snobbish, unkind people.

If I could give a negative start I would. This call center is trash and needs a lot more training on customer care. I've been hung up on multiple times and yelled and with poor treatment. Shut the whole center down, re train, re higher all levels of support. My issue started on January 28th and still has yet to be resolved by a supervisor. Last time I called was February 6th with same poor customer care and put on hold to never get another live agent. All I wanted was a basic new URL link to file my taxes like I've been doing for the last 4 years. Other United ways in various states never treated a customer like this one here. I literally had to call a call center in another state to get my needs met. Close this office and call center till these unfit works can learn to do a job accordingly and correctly. Horrible for a referral center that work for the people of there City and town.

My call was to let the 211 operators know how essential they are to our community and how effective what they do for us on a daily basis is. I also want them to know how much they have help me make connections to get my seniors the right answers and information for resources they need and some of the kids I deal with along with their parents resources and ideas just to get along during this medical crisis. Thank you from the communities perspective.

Give you referrals to agencies already contacted. No updated help could not help me.
