I went to the first appointment two years ago with a therapist and NP. The therapist was nice, however the NP told me they won't be able to help with my ADHD medication. So I switched practices, but that wasn't the end of my time with them. The dude who got my insurance info fumbled the information with both policies. How you do that when it is your only job, idk. It took about 3 months to figure this out because you never talk to the same associate at this company nor do they have proper documentation apparently. Today I get a message saying I owe money for my session back in 2024 because it takes 2 years for an insurance company to approve something (it doesn't). They also are trying to gaslight me that I did not confirm my insurance information. Y'all are a mental health agency, get better customer service.
Edit: To the Owner who replied, this issue has been resolved. If your company had proper documentation, you would know.

We couldn’t be happier with Sarah as our couples counselor. Very good listener, with good advice to give. I think she’s gonna help us very much so happy that we chose her as our counselor.

I have been attending sessions for 2 years now with my therapist Alesha Biggs, I’ve struggled with depression, relationship issues and alcohol abuse for years & with the help of her services and working through my traumas I have learned life skills to get me through and learn healthy alternatives to deal with my issues. I am so thankful for her listening ear, patience, much needed guidance, professionalism, and just making this process easy. I would highly recommend her services for those looking for great therapy.

Jennifer Plesz is an amazing person. As I was going through relationship problems and dealing with insecurities, Jennifer was able to pull me back to reality and help me stand up again and move forward with my life. I feel good again. Thank you, Jen.

The therapists are good, but as a whole this organization is shady. My sister's medicare/medicaid was suddenly not accepted starting back in March, after she had already been attending sessions here for about 3 years. We started noticing the weekly charges being pulled in June/July. So we pulled my sister from services, and found a new counseling center. But now after a month of being gone, they pulled $1700 from my account WITH NO WARNING. For a bill of her appointments from back in March to April that they said the insurance did not pay.
They will NOT notify you if they stop accepting your insurance. What they will do is just let the bill rack up then suddenly pull it all from your card. Overdrafting our account and completely wiping my sisters SSI for the month. No notification at all that my sister's weekly appointments were now costing $170 each and the bill was just racking up.
EXTREMELY underhanded and shady behavior from an organization that claims to help others with therapy and counseling. Avoid Thriveworks at all costs.
