Ronald McDonald House

While my son is in the nicu and will be there for over a month we were told we could stay here and was given a number to call and was told they’d let us In when we called but yet we get here and call the number and they’re sending us straight to voicemail and even the hospital and only answered the hospital once then hung up on them. So needless to say not a very good experience so far…

This place was absolutely amazing and a blessing to our family! We spent 18 nights at the Ronald McDonald House in Huntington, WV while our babies were in the NICU. The staff was wonderful and even tried to accommodate food allergies for meals. The place has a feel almost like home and has almost everything needed for parents and families to stay long-term while their kids are in the NICU or PICU at the hospital. We are so incredibly thankful this ministry exists and serves families in need.

I feel bad for not having donated more throughout my life! This place has been an absolute godsend as I abruptly had my life turned upside down. Suddenly having a preemie baby now in the NICU and off work for the foreseeable future with quite a distance between home and the hospital, I don't know what I would've done without this place lending a hand. Aside from the much needed and appreciated assistance aforementioned, it's perfect in every other way. There is always food. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. The hot water lasts a long time. They have a little library, several patios, and many places for children to be entertained from the media room to the playground. Forever this place shall be in my heart.

Bad streets. The signage is deplorable in the area I have always thought they need help with the direction of the streets for visitors to be able to decipher where to drive to Very beautiful

They are very respectful & understanding. There facility is clean & if u need anything & they will try see u get it . You know like extra towels, pillow, .. There is a kitchen & always snacks & something to eat ... they have washer and dryer so u can wash your clothes. They do an amazing job..Thank You I'm from Mingo County & my family & I've been there a few times like 6 or 7 times last 20 years ...its painful & sad to go through what we got go through sometimes 🙏 prayers for all family in need for prayer 🙏 Have A Blessed day.....Terri Marcum
