I’ve seen the PROOF that at least one of the nursing staff is stealing medication from patients causing them to miss MULTIPLE days of medication. When contacted about the situation the staff at this facility BLOCKED the man who was providing the physical proof and information about this situation. My own mother has to be in a facility now and I would be FURIOUS if this was happening to her. I’ve worked with several facilities as a provider and this is just completely unacceptable. This is a vulnerable community of patients and to not take something like this seriously is beyond me. The fact that it’s being covered up is even more unacceptable. If your loved one is here… PLEASE check on them and if you’re considering this place for a loved one PLEASE consider other options. I can not believe the unprofessional behavior exhibited by this facility.

My mother was there and I will never take her back. They are so nice to your face and on the phone, however it is the ultimate deception. Caregivers are rude, short tempered, over worked, underpaid and you will never get a straight answer. I wouldn’t bring my dogs there! Of course everyone has their opinion and this is mine. Check it for yourself

Sheila and her staff have been wonderful working with my mom to get my grandpa moved into the Assisted Living. I used to work for the company at a community elsewhere, and believe wholeheartedly in their mission. When it came time for my mom to think about getting my grandpa care, I urged her to consider Wyngate as I believe there is no better place.

Not at all what we expected. After being in nursing homes and not getting the care that we desired, we decided to go to Wyngate. We had heard wonderful things about this place but it is expensive and it is not covered by insurance. We met with the representative at the hospital and were assured that they could and would provide the care we needed with no problem. After one month here, it is a totally different picture than what was painted originally. The people are all local and the residents are very nice will all different stages and types of diseases. The facility is very short staffed and It takes for every to get someone to answer a call. I understand that each resident wears a bracelet with a call button on it, and I know that you can't take care of all 60 people at one time. But my husband calls and calls and they answer the call but never come to the room. They do not address the problems and make a lot of promises that they are not staffed to keep. I am very disappointed with this facility. I have complained to try and get this straighten out, but this did not help. They have one RN and 4 or 5 LPNs. The rest of the staff are Aids. I have asked about calling a corporate number only to be told that this will not help. That others have called the corporate number and it only caused more problems with the staff. Our Doctor says they are extremely rude and not professional at all and he will not refer anyone there.
