Bought a headstone for my aunt in February 2025, thought it was a good experience at first. Went right in. Never used them before but it was close. Said they would email that what we said we wanted was correct on stone. Never got it so I called a fees mos later to check and they said they would call right back but never did. So I still don’t know if it’s in the process or not! 10000’ dollars later. This was through probate court and I have to account for all expenses! Not sure what’s going on but have to file with probate to get the money back and use another monument company. Very poor communication! Did not need to go through this ..

We have been working with Schott Monuments for almost 20 years. They helped me create a customized monument almost 20 years ago for my husband. Recently we lost our granddaughter. Bruce helped my son and his wife design a perfect monument to add to our existing plot. The lettering and stone are perfectly matched and the workmanship is impeccable. I compared prices with newer companies. Schott is more reasonable but the important thing is, the quality of the work stays. You can depend on them.

In May 2020, I ordered a headstone w/military plaque to be mounted for my husband, who died suddenly. Received a postcard from the VA telling me the bronze plaque was ordered & would be sent to Schott Monument Co. 4055 Spring Grove Ave. Cincinnati, OH. After several months, I called Bruce, who told me they never received the plaque. I located the postcard from the VA & called Bruce back. Still he argued that they did not have it. He said it would have been signed for upon receipt & there was no such paperwork at his office. I called the VA, who assured me the plaque was delivered & had been signed for by Bruce. The VA called Schott Monument. A few minutes later, Bruce called me. They had suddenly found the plague. I don't know if anyone else has had a terrible customer service incident with Bruce, but this one gave this widow great grief. I gave Schott Monument 2 stars because the stone itself looked good. Just beware if you are asking for extras. It has been awhile since this happened but being at the Memorial Day Service brought back memories

Amateur work. Unprofessional service. The man who took my order claimed to be is this business for over 50 years but didn't sell anything to me. I had to ask about everything they offer. After 2 headstone proofs were sent to me I rejected both. I was so disappointed at the amateur work. When I cancelled he said he'll mail me a check instead of adding back to my card. A memorable experience.
